Christopher Daley-Watson, a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property practice, counsels clients on intellectual property law and related litigation regarding patent and design protection in business methods and various technologies including: telecommunications, computer architecture and networks, software, electronics and the Internet. He drafts and prosecutes patent applications, including reissue application, and performs intellectual property due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. He also advises clients on establishing internal patent procurement programs, innovation audits, competitive analysis, and international patent prosecution strategies. Further, he assists clients in patent portfolio management, patent monetization strategies, and analysis of third party patents for validity or infringement concerns. Christopher has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
He has represented numerous technology companies with patent due diligence, third party patent analysis, and preparation of S-1, merger and licensing documents, all related to corporate finance and M&A transactions. Christopher as assisted in the following transactions, to name a few:
