Katie Poleon has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts, including product liability actions (aviation and laboratory-related), patent litigation (semiconductor packaging and Internet), actions arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and False Claims Act (FCA), contract disputes, and the defense of commercial class actions. Katie has significant experience in various phases of litigation, including discovery and motion practice. She has counseled clients in connection with government investigations in the health care industry, potential liability exposure relating to acquisitions and product expansion, the legal implications of mass advertising, and global case strategy for the defense of prospective laboratory negligence claims. Katie also has an active pro bono practice that includes the successful representation of two asylum seekers.
