Kristi’s practice areas include workers’ compensation, personal injury, general civil litigation and insurance coverage disputes. Kristi served seven years as an Assistant Attorney General with the Missouri Attorney General’s office before working in private practice in Liberty, Missouri. Thereafter in 2012, she partnered with Mark Kelly to form Kelly & Pittman, P.C. Kristi earned her Juris Doctorate in 2000 from Washburn University School of Law, in Topeka, Kansas after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Wichita State University. While in law school, Kristi was appointed to the National Order of Barristers. Kristi is a member of the Missouri, Kansas, and Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Associations as well as the Clay County Bar Association, where she served on the Board of Directors for two years and currently holds the office of Treasurer.
Kristi served as a Senior Unit Chief in the Kansas City office of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office Labor Division, representing the State of Missouri as an Employer and the Missouri Second Injury Fund in workers’ compensation matters. She has regularly appeared on behalf of Employees and Employers before the Missouri and Kansas Divisions of Workers’ Compensation, Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and the Missouri Court of Appeals. Kristi has also appeared before the Kansas Court of Appeals.
Kristi has resided in the Kansas City northland for over 12 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters as well as running and spending time outdoors.
