Ian Pitz practices general civil litigation in the Madison office of Michael Best & Friedrich. He has tried civil and criminal cases to juries in both State and Federal Court and prosecuted appeals before Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, as well as Minnesota and Wisconsin State Appellate Courts. Mr. Pitz is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Minnesota and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, as well as numerous United States Circuit and District Courts. Mr. Pitz has a diverse practice which includes representation of clients in cases involving product liability, eminent domain, professional licensure and regulatory proceedings, contract and trade secret disputes.
