Eileen Crowley practices in the areas of general civil litigation and currently focuses her practice on environmental and transportation related litigation. Ms. Crowley has more than 35 years of trial experience on both the federal and state court levels.
Ms. Crowley's practice has centered on defense of corporations in three main areas: (1) toxic tort claims, both arising from environmental contamination and from product liability claims; (2) Superfund and state Superfund claims including contribution and cost recovery suits; and (3) general litigation involving train derailments and crossing accidents, leaking underground storage tanks, tractor trailer accidents, catastrophic personal injury, property damage claims and real estate disputes. She has defended multiple carpet companies in nationwide class action litigation based on carpet emission claims; prosecuted and defended claims for contamination resulting from operations as varied as aluminum finishing, battery recycling, wood preservation, lead smelting, electro-plating and insecticide formulation. Ms. Crowley regularly assists clients in negotiating with federal, state, and local regulators. She has tried numerous jury cases involving product recalls, personal injuries, real estate, wiretapping, and myriad other tort and contract claims.
