Glen is a litigator whose practice focuses on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, products liability and premises liability cases, pending in Connecticut's state and federal courts. Glen's work also includes insurance defense and coverage, complex tort litigation, broker-dealer litigation, commercial and business disputes and appellate practice. He also has extensive experience successfully representing vehicle leasing companies and commercial property owners, as well as other commercial and personal lines insureds in a variety of civil litigation. Glen serves as local counsel to out-of-state firms and their clients, bringing his extensive knowledge of Connecticut law and civil procedure to bear on their behalf. Glen is a Diplomate of the Connecticut Trial Advocacy Institute.
At the request of attorneys, individuals, corporations and insurers, Glen serves as a private arbitrator to hear and resolve civil disputes. He also acts as a court-appointed Arbitrator and Fact-Finder for the Superior Court of Connecticut, in the Judicial District of New Haven at New Haven and Meriden.
In addition to his professional concentrations, Glen maintains an active academic interest in the law that includes writing, teaching and membership in various professional organizations, including the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society. His most recent publication is The Role of Federalism in the Disputed Selection of Presidential Electors: 1916 & 2000, 22 Quinnipiac L. Rev. 283 (2003). Glen regularly presents a lecture on Connecticut civil practice for the New Haven County Bar Association's continuing legal education program. Glen is also a former Director and active member of the Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities (CABO), Connecticut's GLBT Chamber of Commerce.
Glen is an honors graduate of Princeton University, where he majored in politics. He received his law degree from Georgetown University, where he served on the editorial staff of the nation's leading tax law journal, The Tax Lawyer.
