Adam P. Pihana received his law degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 2007, where he served on the Missouri Law Review and represented the state in criminal proceedings as a member of the Criminal Prosecution Clinic. Admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2007, Adam is also admitted to practice in both the Federal Western and Eastern District Courts of Missouri.
Adam's experience is in civil trial practice, focusing in the areas of medical negligence, personal injury, liability and title insurance defense, and employment law. He possesses experience in all stages of litigation, including the drafting and filing of petitions, discovery, the successful drafting and argument of motions for summary judgment, and jury trials.
Adam is a current Board Member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Vice President of the Springfield Claims Association. In 2009, the Missouri Bar selected Adam as one of eighteen attorneys statewide to be a member of the 2009-2010 Missouri Bar Leadership Academy. In 2010, readers of the Springfield News-Leader voted Adam runner-up "Best Attorney in the Ozarks." Adam is also a 2010 graduate of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers - John L. Oliver, Jr. Trial Academy.
Adam completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, where he majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice. He has been a Big Brother with the Big Brothers and Sisters of the Ozarks since 2007.
