Michael E. Crowder is a founding member of Julian, Crowder & Shuster, P.C. His practice focus is Criminal Defense.
Mr. Crowder grew up in Fort Worth, Texas . He attended Texas Christian University from which he graduated in 1991, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Mr. Crowder is a former licensed Texas Peace Officer and served in law enforcement for over 10 years before and while attending law school. Mr. Crowder obtained his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2001, where he graduated cum laude, and first in his class. He was also a member and Associate Editor of the Texas Wesleyan University Law Review.
Mr. Crowder has chosen to focus his career on criminal defense in the North Texas area. Combined, he has handled hundreds of cases in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant Counties .
Mr. Crowder has successfully defended many criminal cases, including, but not limited to, D.W.I. & D.U.I. cases, Assault and Family Violence cases, Marijuana and Drug Possession, Petitions for Non-disclosure and Expunction, and many other types of Misdemeanor and Felony cases. He has handled all areas of criminal matters ranging from Class C traffic violations through 1st Degree Felonies.
Mr. Crowder is a member in good-standing of the State Bar of Texas and licensed to practice before all Texas state courts. Mr. Crowder maintains membership in the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Denton County Bar Association, and the National College for DUI Defense.
