Charles J. Phillips has extensive experience in debtor/creditor rights and bankruptcy matters. He has represented Official Creditors Committees in major Chapter 11 reorganizations involving copper tubing manufacturers, coal miners, suppliers, landfill operators, retailers and construction contractors. Mr. Phillips has also represented Chapter 11 debtors involved in various businesses including manufacturers, distributors, computer software developers, real estate developers, general contractors and agricultural businesses and brokers. His representative clients include financial institutions, landlords and businesses involved in commercial transactions. Mr. Phillips' practice also includes general corporate law, transactional matters, tax resolution cases, commercial litigation, estate administration and estate planning. He is a graduate of Albright College (Magna Cum Laude) and Villanova University, School of Law. Mr. Phillips is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association and a member of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference.
