MARCUS T. FOOTE is an attorney with Kuehne Foote & Gaudin, APLC, where he practices exclusively in the area of family law. His primary focus is on community property and retirement/pension divisions. He has been board-certified in the area of family law by the Louisiana Board of Specialization since January 2002. Mr. Foote is a current board member of the Louisiana State Bar Association Family Law Council. He is a past president of the Baton Rouge Bar Association Family Law section. Mr. Foote earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the Louisiana Scholars' College Regents Program located at Northwestern State University, and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University Law Center. While attending Northwestern State, he won the National Collegiate Debate
Tournament for the junior division (2 years experience and under) and was 32nd out of 220 teams in the National Open Division Tournament. Mr. Foote instructs a National Business Institute CLE each year on forensic accounting and retirement division issues.
