Before joining the firm, Damon Phillips worked as a Senior Assistant Prosecutor in the Major Crimes Unit of the Greene County Prosecutor's Office from January 2007 to September 2010. Before his promotion to Senior Assistant, Damon was first assigned to handle Major Crimes cases in October 2005. Prior to this, Damon served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Property Crimes Unit from September 2004 to October 2005, focusing on stealing and property damage cases including forgery, embezzlement, financial elder abuse, and a variety of financial and property-related litigation. Damon's first caseload as an attorney began in the Civil/Traffic Unit of the Prosecutor's Office from November 2003 through September 2004, working on cases ranging from minor traffic tickets to vehicular fatalities, including tractor-trailer and commercial carrier accidents. Other assignments included serving as the Prosecutor's representative on the Greene County Planning & Zoning Committee, Greene County Drug Court, and Greene County DWI Court.
