A nearly life-long resident of the Kansas City metropolitan area Robert Flynn maintains strong ties to both sides of the state line. After graduating from Rockhurst High School, he attended the University of Kansas, where he obtained two undergraduate degrees and a Juris Doctor. While a law student, Mr. Flynn co-founded the university’s chapter of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, an organization dedicated to improving the county through progressive legal leadership. Away from the office and the courtroom, Mr. Flynn volunteers at a community garden that raises thousands of pounds per year of free fruits and vegetables for the needy; and at every major election he monitors the polls to ensure no eligible voters are denied their rights, regardless of party affiliation.
