Catherine was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and raised in San Jose, California. She focuses her practice on defending medical malpractice actions including the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in the defense of professional liability claims. Prior to joining Post & Post, Catherine gained extensive experience litigating complex securities class action lawsuits including multiple cases involving pharmaceutical companies. She also has assisted in several major bank investigations for violations of federal securities law relating to mortgage and internal accounting issues. Catherine is licensed to practice both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Catherine graduated cum laude from Sonoma State University with a degree from the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies. She received her law degree from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2006 where she earned honors in Trial Advocacy, Family Law Custody, Taxation, and Juvenile Justice. She was the recipient of a Law Merit Space Scholarship. While a law student, she interned for the Honorable Teresa M. Sarmina, Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and with the Federal Defenders of Philadelphia.
