Molly graduated from the University of the South (B.A. 1991) and from the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D. 1994).
She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994, the United States District Court, District of South Carolina in 1995, the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit in 1997, and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1999. She is a member of the Charleston County, South Carolina and American Bar Associations, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, Defense Research Institute, International Association of Defense Counsel, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, American Board of Trial Advocates and Litigation Counsel of America. She is a current officer of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys, a current member of the Board of Directors for the International Association of Defense Counsel, a current member of the Foundation Board for the International Association of Defense Counsel, and a current member of the Executive Council for the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. She has successfully completed the Civil Trial Advocacy School at the University of Colorado sponsored by the International Association of Defense Trial Counsel and served on the faculty of the Trial Academy at Stanford Law School in July 2007.
