Mr. Perryman is a partner with the firm who practices primarily in the areas of Municipal Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Real Estate. He also represents a number of corporations and small businesses including several charitable and religious organizations.
Mr. Perryman is currently serving in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. His District 56 includes a number of communities in Grady, Caddo and Kiowa Counties in Southwestern Oklahoma. Mr. Perryman is a member of the following House Committees: General Government, Higher Education Subcommittee of Appropriations and Budget, Special Committee on Pension Oversight, Tourism and International Relations.
Mr. Perryman is licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in the state of Oklahoma and before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado. His varied practice has also provided him with extensive experience before many state and federal regulatory agencies and quasi-judicial bodies.
Mr. Perryman is an active member of the Oklahoma Municipal Attorneys Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Grady County Bar Association and he routinely presents voluntary lectures and programs to schools, clubs, senior citizen centers, churches and other civic organizations on legal issues that relate to the everyday life of citizens.
After graduating from Kinta High School, Mr. Perryman obtained an Associate Degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma. While at Eastern, Mr. Perryman served as Student Government President.
In 1980, Mr. Perryman earned a Bachelors of Science and teaching degree in Political Science, History and Geography from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. While at Oklahoma State University, Mr. Perryman became a member of the Delta Kappa chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
Graduating with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1983, Mr. Perryman associated with the firm's predecessor, Huckaby, Fleming and Frailey.
Mr. Perryman has served as President of the Chickasha Kiwanis Club, President of the Grady County Bar Association and Chairman of numerous community and chamber of commerce committees. In 1994, Mr. Perryman was the Democratic nominee for the United States Congress for Oklahoma's Fourth Congressional District. Mr. Perryman is an active member of the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association. He serves as an elder in his church.
