Anne Peterson holds a BA in sociolinguistics and English literature from The Evergreen State College. Prior to law school she worked as a chef in fine dining restaurants in San Francisco and Seattle, studied Spanish, and volunteered for the King County Bar Association Spanish-bilingual Immigration Legal Clinic.
Anne received a JD from Golden Gate University School of Law where she was a member of the dean’s list, the Moot Court Board, the AAJ and SFTLA Mock Trial competition teams, and co-chaired the GGU chapter of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. She won awards for mock trial, trial advocacy, legal research, contracts, and torts. While in law school, Anne interned for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and The California Office of the Attorney General Department of Writs and Appeals. After law school, she conducted research on international constitutional law, and worked for law firms specializing in criminal, civil and immigration litigation.
