Jessica practices in the areas of Family and Education Law. She earned her B.A. at the University of Utah in 2005 and graduated from Gonzaga School of Law in 2009. She is an active member of the Utah State Bar. Jessica is a qualified private and conflict Guardian ad Litem for the Utah Office of Guardian ad Litem. In 2009, she held an externship with the Honorable Judge O. Reilly in the Spokane County Superior and Juvenile Courts. She also held an extended internship with the Seattle-based youth advocacy group, TeamChild, where she created and facilitated an education advocacy program in combination with the Spokane Juvenile Court. Jessica was recognized for her work on a case at Gonzaga’s University Legal Assistance which led to the return of the Sudanese refugee client’s children to her rightful care and custody. Jessica founded the Gonzaga Student Alliance for Social Justice and served on the boards for the Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project, the Gonzaga Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Access to Justice Law School Relations Committee. She also presented as a panel guest at the 2008 Access to Justice Conference in Vancouver, WA.
