Mr. Perez graduated from St. Mary's University in 2002. He earned his law degree at St. Mary's University School of Law in 2005. While in law school, he earned the Marianist-Green award for clinical excellence for his representation of clients during law school. Before joining Lawler & Associates, P.C. in 2011, Mr. Perez worked for civil litigation firms in the Rio Grande Valley from 2006 - 2010. He has tried over 14 cases to a jury verdict in Cameron and Hidalgo County. Mr. Perez is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Young Lawyers Association, Cameron County Bar Association, and Hidalgo County Bar Association.
Mr. Perez practice includes handling all aspects of commercial, personal injury, and property damage litigation arising from construction defect, premises liability, negligent security, products liability, and commercial and personal transportation liability. He is admitted to practice before all Texas Courts as well as the United States District Courts in the Southern District of Texas.
