Mr. Corey graduated from St. John's University School of Law in June of 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in April of 2002 and admitted to the New York State Bar in September of 2002. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York. Prior to his association with Macco & Stern, LLP, Mr. Corey was an associate with Pryor & Mandelup, LLP where he concentrated on the representation of individual and corporate Debtors in bankruptcy proceedings, workout negotiations and all aspects of asset preservation while also representing a Chapter 7 trustee in various litigated bankruptcy matters. Mr. Corey is also the Former Managing Bankruptcy Attorney at Frenkel, Lambert, Weiss, Weisman & Gordon LLP where he was responsible for the representation of various national institutional lenders, as creditors, in individual and corporate bankruptcy proceedings throughout New York state.
