ALLEGRA L. FISHEL is Of Counsel to Outten & Golden LLP. She represents employees in a wide range of employment matters with a concentration in employment discrimination. Ms. Fishel is particularly interested in legal issues impacting women, and has extensive experience representing individuals in gender discrimination cases, including sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, and equal pay claims.
Ms. Fishel has also successfully litigated cases involving discrimination on the basis of race, religion, national origin and sexual orientation, as well as has advocated for the rights of disabled employees in the workplace. Her practice includes both litigation and the resolution of employment disputes out of court with an emphasis on mediation.
Ms. Fishel is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is admitted to the Southern and Eastern district federal courts in New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Fishel is a member of numerous bar associations including the National Employment Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Labor and Employment Law sections of both the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. She is currently the co-chair of the Leadership and Diversity Subcommittee of the New York State Bar Association.
Ms. Fishel graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received her J.D. degree from Boston University.
