Perez Youngblood, Maria

Daniel P. Finney Jr. specializes in serious litigation matters, particularly complex personal injury claims. He has over thirty years of experience as a litigator, having completed over 100 jury trials. Dan has obtained multimillion dollar verdicts or settlements in claims arising from truck accidents, medical negligence, product defects, fraud, auto accidents, accidental shooting, and inverse condemnation. The results of some of his trials have attracted national media attention, and with respect to protective firefighting equipment, have changed the way defective products are tracked and have resulted in product recalls. Dan collaborates with out of state attorneys to pursue claims in other jurisdictions. He has also been named a top 100 trial lawyer by the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has appeared on radio as an expert commentator on the topics of legal and medical malpractice and is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Dan is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the St. Louis Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Lawyers Association, and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. He graduated from St. Louis University Law School in 1978. Before entering private practice in 1981 he worked as an Assistant Circuit Attorney in the City of St. Louis prosecuting felonies. During his tenure there he tried to completion and won more jury trials than any other attorney on staff. He has been admitted to practice in Missouri, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of New York, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Dan is a lifelong St. Louis resident. He and his wife have seven children, two of whom are lawyers and one in law school. He has two grandchildren. Dan has served on the Board of Directors of various local charitable organizations. Dan has spent many, many hours coaching his kids in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He is a history buff and plays the guitar and fiddle poorly.
