Stafford R. Peebles, Jr. is a native of Winston-Salem, NC who graduated UNC-Chapel Hill School in 1971 after receiving his undergraduate degree at Elon University. He has practiced Law in Winston-Salem since 1971 with a general Practice directed for service to families and small businesses. Heavily active in the NC Bar Association, having served three years on the State Board of Directors for the Real Property section of the Bar. He is active in the American Civil Liberties Union, having represented diverse clients in actions involving First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Speech. Stafford served two years on the NC Governor's Council for Standardization of all Offices of the Register of Deeds of the 100 countries of the State of North Carolina. Has been an active speaker on matters regarding Real Property Law to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Realtors and multiples listing associations. Stafford is married with four children and ten grandchildren.
