Practice

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Penley worked as a volunteer law student clerk at the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine, researching evidence issues for cases pending indictment and trial, drafting and filing motions, writing memoranda and observing trials.

Before working for the US Attorney’s Office, Mr. Penley worked as a paralegal specialist at the US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division in Washington DC. There he served as lead paralegal on investigations of billion and multi-million dollar mergers, reviewed market share data and business plans and drafted memoranda for division lawyers.
