This honor is limited to the top 2.5% of all lawyers in Southern California. He was also recently named a member of the Lawdragon 3000 Leading Plaintiffs' Lawyers in America and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Mr. Cooper is frequently asked to speak to attorney organizations and has done so on numerous topics relating to the litigation of tort cases. He has also co-authored a number of articles on topics such as maximizing damages, proving up product liability claims, and obtaining punitive damages.

Mr. Cooper is actively involved in bar associations and activities. He was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, where he has served on the Board of Directors since 2004. Mr. Cooper received his law degree with honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 1994. He received his bachelor's degree in rhetoric with highest distinction from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991.

Between graduating from law school and beginning his private practice, Mr. Cooper was a law clerk for United States District Court Judge Alicemarie H. Stotler in the Central District of California.
