Matthew P. Ferry attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law. Upon graduating law school, he accepted a job as an associate with the law firm formerly known as Kirkconnell, Lindsey, Snure, and Yates P.A. where he practiced exclusively criminal defense from 2006 until 2012.
During those years, he successfully defended hundreds of clients throughout Central Florida charged with DUI, misdemeanor, traffic, and felony cases. In 2010, he was appointed chair of the criminal law committee for the Orange County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Florida and the Federal Court (Middle District of Florida.) He is a member of the Florida Bar, The Orange County Bar Association, The Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Inns of Court. In 2012, he was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
