Chuck Paulson doesn't shy away from combat or competition. Raised in southeast Portland and trained as an airborne infantry officer, Chuck (with the help of his wife Amy) worked his way through night law school as a Portland police officer.
He graduated from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in 1958 and has been trying cases ever since. After graduation, he went to work for one of the most celebrated plaintiff's firms in Oregon.
Since then, he's built a reputation of his own representing individuals in claims against large institutions-and regularly winning against perceived unlikely odds.
Chuck has had the honor of being President of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association on two occasions. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Oregon State Bar and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since its inception in 1987. In 1997, he was honored as the year's Outstanding Alumnus of Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. In 2000, he was honored as Oregon Trial Lawyers Association's Distinguished Trial Lawyer.
Chuck is also listed as one of Portland's Best Lawyers in Portland Monthly magazine.
