Hamang Patel is a partner in Michael Best's Madison office, practicing principally in tax and business law. Mr. Patel has extensive experience in federal, state and local tax issues arising from a broad range of complex transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, dispositions of subsidiaries and divisions, tax-free reorganizations, spin-offs, renewable energy tax incentives, new market tax credit financings partnerships and joint ventures, REIT acquisitions, new market tax credit financings real estate transactions and renewable energy tax incentives. His practice further includes general corporate and limited liability company matters and the negotiation and structuring of mergers, acquisitions and venture capital transactions.
