Amee Patel is a Solicitor specialising in Prison Law and Housing Law.

Amee graduated in the field of History obtaining a BA Honours degree from Queen Mary, University of London and thereafter studied Law at the College of Law and obtained a degree in Law (LLB). She joined Swain & Co Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor in 2007.

Amee's interests and expertise are in Prison Law including Public Law work, Housing Law and Community Care Law. She undertakes all of her own advocacy and wherever possible will see a case through from start to finish. Amee assists vulnerable prisoners leaving prison with Housing and Community Care needs but also undertakes Housing Law and Community Care Law work on a standalone basis working with non prisoner clients.

Amee obtained Prison Law Supervisor status in 2010 and supervises staff on a daily basis.
