Francis E. Farren has been practicing law since 1997. His practice is devoted entirely to criminal defense. Mr. Farren defends all types of criminal cases, ranging from First Degree Murder to DUI to minor traffic violations. Mr. Farren is licensed to practice law in the State of Delaware. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court – District of Delaware, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Farren graduated from Sanford Preparatory School in 1981 and the University of Delaware in 1992. Mr. Farren was a Probation/Parole Officer with the Delaware Department of Corrections from 1989 through 1997, during which time he studied law at the Widener University School of Law. After graduating from Widener in 1997, Mr. Farren served as Deputy Attorney General with the Delaware Department of Justice from 1997 through 2005. when he entered private practice.
Mr. Farren is married to his wonderful wife, Andrea, and has two beautiful children, Zachary and Kylie.
