Michael J. Faber specializes in the representation of employees in harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination litigation.
Mr. Faber was admitted to the California Bar in 1979. Since 1987, he has been a sole practitioner in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles where he specializes in representing employees in employment related disputes. Mr. Faber has tried nearly 40 jury trials in state and federal courts, and has argued over 10 appeals in the California Courts of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Faber has served on the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and regularly teaches various MCLE seminars on employment litigation.
Mr. Faber enjoys the prestigious AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, signifying that his peers in the profession consider his legal ability and ethical standards to be of the highest order. He has been named a "Southern California Super Lawyer" by Los Angeles Magazine for six consecutive years, from 2006 through 2011.
Mr. Faber was a partner at Wilner, Klein & Siegel (1985-1987), and an associate at Lillick McHose & Charles (1979-1985 -- now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman). Mr. Faber graduated UC Santa Barbara in 1975 with High Honors, and graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law in 1979.
