Peter Coffey is a partner focusing on the financing, acquisition and sale of businesses. He regularly counsels individuals and corporate clients in the structuring and negotiating of strategic alliances, technology licensing and distribution arrangements, executive compensation and family succession strategies. His strategic business vision is enhanced from having operated one of the nations largest retailers of fine furniture. In the financing area, he has represented investors and lenders in start-ups and venture capital transactions, tender offers, and recapitalizations.

Peter also interacts with regulatory agencies in a variety of public financing, licensing, and procurement matters. He assisted a prominent LBO firm in the successful resolution of the largest Department of Labor, I.R.S. and private litigation involving an ESOP.
