Ms. Oserow Rhodes received her law degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1978 and a Master's of Business Administration in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 1984. She received her Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. Since 1984 Ms. Oserow Rhodes' practice has been limited to U.S. immigration and naturalization law with an emphasis in employment-based immigration (including investor visas, religious workers, intracompany transferees, and labor certifications); as well as family immigration, deportation and removal defense, and political asylum. Ms. Oserow Rhodes focused on tax, estate planning and corporate law prior to limiting her practice to U.S. immigration and naturalization law.
Ms. Oserow Rhodes has represented clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (formerly INS), Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. District Court (Denver, Colorado), the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Department of Labor. She has testified as an expert witness in state court proceedings on immigration issues.
Ms. Oserow Rhodes is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has been a speaker at the AILA annual conference. She has lectured at the AILA National Annual Conference and has lectured on immigration topics at various other seminars in Colorado. Ms. Oserow Rhodes is a past Chairperson of the Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She serves as the Colorado AILA liaison to the US Customs and Border Protection agency and is a past member of the AILA Colorado Chapter Asylum Liaison committee. Ms. Oserow Rhodes is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and a past member of the Denver Tax Association.
