Kevin joined Marshall Dennehey in 2011 as a shareholder in the firm's Health Care Department. While he concentrates his practice in medical malpractice and professional licensure, he has also represented clients in other general liability matters as well.
Kevin has successfully tried 15 medical malpractice cases since 2003. In one case, he successfully defended a pediatric cardiac surgery case involving permanent neurological injury with multimillion dollar exposure. In another, he successfully defended a pathologist on a claim of failure to diagnose laryngeal cancer, in spite of receiving an adverse inference charge contra to his client.
Kevin's bar admissions include the U.S. Supreme Court, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. District Court, Middle and Eastern Districts. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Cumberland County Bar Association and Dauphin County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Saint Thomas More Society.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in biology at Hamilton College (where he was a member of the basketball and track teams), Kevin attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law. In 1981, he received his juris doctor, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. While in law school, Kevin was the managing editor of the Bridgeport Law Review, a Morris Shaiman Scholarship recipient, a resident advisor and a research assistant to his torts professor.
Kevin is active in his community, serving as a volunteer for several church, education and youth sport organizations.
