William Elam is Elam & Rousseaux's newest associate. William graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with a double major in History and Political Science. He graduated with distinction in both majors and honors in History. He then decided to follow in his father's footsteps as an attorney and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and graduated in 2006. As a law student, he was an editor and staff writer for the Journal of Law and Technology.

William is licensed to practice in all trial and appellate courts in North & South Carolina. He is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
