Christine has practiced law with Gordon Muir & Foley LLP since October of 2000 in the areas of general business, contracts, construction law, commercial real estate and commercial finance representing business clients, construction clients and tax exempt organizations. Christine participates in the drafting and negotiating of construction related agreements and addresses the real estate and business law issues that arise in the daily operation of the business of owners, contractors and subcontractors. She routinely handles the formation, ongoing representation, dissolution, acquisition and sale of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and other business entities including tax exempt organizations. Christine also represents clients in commercial leasing and commercial real estate matters representing landlords, tenants, sellers and purchasers. Other areas of her practice include contract matters, employment matters, representing primarily employers, and commercial finance matters.
Christine started her career in Hartford in 1980 as a commercial loan officer for Hartford National Bank. After completing law school in the night program at University of Connecticut School of Law, she joined the law firm of Schatz, Schatz, Ribicoff and Kotkin. Christine later moved to Southbury, Connecticut, and joined her father in the practice of law at the law firm of Chipman, Mazzucco, Land & Pennarola, LLC, with offices in Danbury, Connecticut. Upon her return to the Hartford area in 2000, Christine began practicing with GM&F.
Christine is a former Executive Committee member and past Secretary of the Business Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
Christine lives in Bloomfield, Connecticut with her husband Barry, a labor lawyer, and her daughter. She regularly serves as an ESL tutor for Greater Hartford Literacy Volunteers. Christine is also the Vice President and a member of the Executive Board of her condominium community.
