O'Mahoney, Benedict

Andy is a partner of the firm, practicing in the areas of tax law and estate and business planning. He is the former chair of the Trusts and Estates Group, and he currently serves as a member of the Management Committee.

He provides estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, business succession planning for business owners and tax advice to individual and business clients in connection with many types of transactions, including business acquisitions and restructurings; venture capital fund formation and structuring; equity compensation strategies; business formations and combinations; formation, qualification and operation of tax-exempt organizations; and tax-exempt bond financings. Boston magazine and Law & Politics named Andy one of Massachusetts "Super Lawyers" for 2008 and 2009, and he has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Tax Law for the past 20 years.
