Prior to attending law school, Ken was working door to door in sales and then installing new exteriors on old houses for two years. Initially he was rejected to all schools he had applied to and was very disappointed. He sent a letter to the Dean of Vermont Law School. Six months later, the Dean sent Ken an invitation to attend the Law School the following year. The rest is history.
