She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Wellesley College and obtained M.S., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in pharmacology from Yale University. Dr. Ehrhard’s dissertation research focused on a novel method of detecting interactions between heterologous transmembrane and cytosolic or cell surface proteins by exploiting the G-protein signaling pathway in yeast. This work has been published in peer-reviewed publications, and she is a co-inventor on patents related to her dissertation research.
Prior to attending Yale, Dr. Ehrhard worked in the medical device and biotechnology industries, conducting research related to whole blood and biological fluid analyzers and microsphere drug delivery technologies.
