Catherine I. Chavarri, a native of Virginia, is a 1990 graduate of Loyola Law School (New Orleans). She also studied in Madrid, Spain with Marshall-Wythe School of Law (William and Mary College). Her areas of practice include personal injury, criminal defense, insurance defense, immigration and international law. She is a panel attorney for the Federal Public Defender in the Eastern District of Louisiana. She is also qualified by the Administrative Offices of the United States Courts as a certified court interpreter for English-Spanish proceedings. Among others, she is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), Women's Professional Council, Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Hispanic Lawyers Association of Louisiana. She is a Practitioner in NLP, Neurolinguistic Programming.
