Daniel Chaudoin is a counsel in the Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2010.
Practice
Mr. Chaudoin served on the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for 10 years, ultimately as Assistant Director, Division of Enforcement. While at the SEC, he led a team of attorneys in the investigation and litigation of cases involving the Securities Act, the Securities Exchange Act, the Investment Advisers Act, the Investment Company Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He also coordinated SEC actions with related criminal investigations by the Department of Justice and by the US Attorney’s Offices for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Central District of California, the Middle District of Florida and the District of Delaware.
Prior to his work at the SEC, Mr. Chaudoin was a litigation associate at Dickstein, Shapiro, Morin & Oshinsky, LLP, where he focused on complex insurance coverage litigation.
