Patrick Ellard is a senior associate in the Real Estate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2007.
Practice
Mr. Ellard’s experience includes advising clients on leasing, financing, development, affordable housing and the acquisition and disposition of real estate. He has also worked with the firm's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group, and the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Mr. Ellard has represented several non-profits in real estate matters including Caritas Communities, Inc., Year Up, City Year and the Dennis Conservation Trust.
Mr. Ellard received his JD, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center where he was editor-in-chief of the American Criminal Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ellard worked as a real estate agent, a mortgage originator and for the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a licensed notary public in Massachusetts.

Mr. Ellard serves as a member of the Young Advisors Board of the Boston Preservation Alliance. He is also a member of the Boston Bar Association and Real Estate Finance Association.
