Julie Ann Edelstein is an associate in the Defense Department. She joined the firm in 2007.
Practice
Prior to beginning her law studies, Ms. Edelstein completed a summer internship for the Hon. Mary A. McLaughlin, United States District Court, EDPA, where she drafted a memorandum on a case involving the application of a statute of limitations to debtors and guarantors.
Ms. Edelstein also interned on the House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security and collaborated with the Hon. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) in writing The National Counterterrorism Center: Foreign and Domestic Intelligence Fusion and the Potential Threat to Privacy.
Between 2004 and 2007, Ms. Edelstein advocated for low-income clients on custody and child abuse issues with the Custody and Support Assistance Clinic in Philadelphia, PA, and was a board member of the organization.
