O'Connor, Dennis J

Patrick J. O’Connor is a senior litigation and transactional attorney at Mitchell & Shapiro LLP. Mr. O’Connor has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, including matters related to contract disputes, business divorces, non-compete / non-solicitation agreements (both in Georgia and other states) and commercial collections / creditors’ rights in the state and bankruptcy courts. He is also experienced in representing individuals in personal injury matters. Mr. O’Connor’s transactional practice focuses primarily on business and commercial contract formation, non-compete / non-solicitation agreements and representing sellers or purchasers in commercial real estate transactions. He was recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2007.

Mr. O’Connor is active in his community and has served on the Avondale Estates Historic Preservation Commission and Architectural Review Board, is on the Board of the Avondale Estates Cultural Affairs Foundation, Inc., and The Museum School of Avondale Estates’ Facilities Committee. In his spare time, he plays sports with his son, argues politics and plays drums.
