O'Connell, Timothy G.

Teresa Chen specializes in the areas of civil litigation, including commercial contract disputes, and landlord-tenant issues.

A recent graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, Ms. Chen joined Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin in 2008.  During law school, Ms. Chen was awarded the prestigious CALI “Excellence for the Future Award” in the area of Patent Law.  In addition, Ms. Chen participated in an intensive externship  at the Inner City Law Center, a nonprofit legal assistance organization in Los Angeles dedicated to assisting tenants, low-income clients, the homeless, and veterans.  During her time with the Inner City Law Center, Ms. Chen worked extensively with landlords and low-income tenants on issues such as housing rights and application of the City of Los Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance.

Ms. Chen was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Ms. Chen also holds a Real Estate Salesperson License from the State of California.
