Jeffrey R. Nicholson received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 1989 his Juris Doctorate from LSU’s Paul M. Herbert Law Center and admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2004. During law school Jeff was on the Chancellor’s list and also the recipient of CALI award in products Liability, as well as the recipient of the Moore, Walters scholarship and the Board of Supervisors scholarship.
Jeff has extensive experience in asbestos exposure cases, automobile accident cases, as well as other serious personal injury cases.
Prior to joining Waddell Anderman Jeff previously worked with Cameron Waddell in his prior firm, LeBlanc and Waddell, handling may occupational disease cases resulting from exposure to asbestos, toxic chemicals and silica; including many wrongful death cases. Jeff also practiced at a local firm handling various personal injury cases including car wrecks, slip and falls, 18 wheeler accidents, and chemical exposure cases. In addition, Jeff has handled numerous Social Security disability cases, both at hearing level and at the appellate level.
Jeff is editor of the legal blog Tort Burger: Hold the Reform, which covers topics including the legal reform movement, product liability, and trial verdicts; with a special emphasis on lung diseases including asbestos related illnesses and 9-11 related illnesses.
