John V. Nguyen is an associate in the firm's New Orleans office, practicing in the areas of appeals, bankruptcy, commercial and construction litigation. Mr. Nguyen has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation in both federal and state courts, with said litigation in the areas of surety law, contractual disputes and environmental law. Mr. Nguyen has represented debtors as special litigation counsel, as well as creditors in complex commercial bankruptcies. Mr. Nguyen has significant experience in bid protests in both state court and federal agencies. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Nguyen worked as a forensic accountant specializing in complex litigation and business problems. During his studies at Loyola University School of Law, he served as an extern to the U.S. Trustee for Region V at the Department of Justice and was a member of the Maritime Law Journal.
Mr. Nguyen is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and all courts of Louisiana.
