Norton, Daniel A.

Danny Nguyen is a senior associate in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Investigations and Criminal Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Nguyen first joined the firm in 2006, and rejoined the firm in 2011 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Reggie B. Walton of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Practice

Mr. Nguyen has a general litigation background with a wide variety of experience in trial-level and appellate litigation, as well as internal corporate investigations. He has represented various clients in significant criminal investigations by federal prosecutors and regulators, and he has also assisted clients with intellectual property, contractual, and other complex commercial disputes. Mr. Nguyen has also supported the firm in its pro bono efforts, having represented clients in matters regarding jury bias and intimidation, benefits for disabled veterans, and constitutional issues arising out of California’s Proposition 8.

Professional Activities

Mr. Nguyen is a founding board member of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of the Greater Washington DC Area, and previously served as a mentor for Asian American Leadership Empowerment and Development for Youth and Families. He also participated in the firm’s after-school tutoring program for students attending the Maya Angelou Public Charter School in Washington DC.
