Jennifer Nichols joined Fain, Major & Brennan in 2005. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of civil litigation matters, defending cases involving personal injury claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents and premises liability, as well as property damage claims in connection with storm water runoff and construction defects.
Jennifer graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology. She attended law school at the University of Miami, where she was member of the University's Moot Court Board, the recipient of the Best Brief Award during the University's 2002 Advanced Moot Court Competition, and the Champion of the 2003 State of Florida Moot Court Competition.
Jennifer is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She has served as lead and co-counsel in numerous trials at the State level.
Jennifer is currently serving as a Co-Chair for the Women in the Profession Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia. Since 2008, Jennifer has served as a Scoring Evaluator and Judge for the annual Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition. She is an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi Greater Atlanta Alumnae Association and she participates in various philanthropic and fundraising events benefiting the organization's national philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities.
