Dori is a former Hamilton County Misdemeanor/D Felony and Child Support Deputy Prosecutor. Dori graduated from the Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis in 2001 and practices in the areas of criminal and family law. In 2009 and 2011, Dori was selected as Rising Star by the Indiana Super Lawyers Magazine.
Dori began practicing law in 2001 as a Deputy Prosecutor with the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office. While working for the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, Dori was assigned as a Child Support Deputy Prosecutor. While handling over 1,000 child support cases in this capacity, she gained extensive litigation experience ranging from simple modifications to complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. Dori also was assigned to misdemeanor/D felony courts where she represented the State of Indiana in initial hearings, pre-trial hearings, suppression hearings, depositions, bench trials, jury trials, and violation of probation hearings.
Dori represents clients with all types of family law issues including: divorce and legal separation; child support modification, establishment, or termination, child custody establishment and modification (changing from one parent to another parent); all issues involving paternity matters or matters involving children born out of wedlock; step-parent or contested adoptions; prenuptial agreements; changes to a divorce decree; contempt related issues for all family law matters; guardianships (contested or non-contested); relocation to another area by the custodial parent; obtaining and/or defending against protective orders; defending against or working with the CHINS (Child in Need of Service Petitions); termination of parental rights matters; and family law appeals.
Dori graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2001. While attending IU School of Law, Dori clerked at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and Legislative Services Agency. Dori is also a graduate of Texas State University, formerly Southwest Texas, majoring in International Relations, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
