Nodolf, Aaron K.

Burt Newell attended college at the University of Arkansas between 1974 and 1978, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He attended University of Arkansas School of Law from 1979 through 1982. He was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.

Upon graduation he was an associate in the Hot Springs, Arkansas law firm, Callahan, Wright, Crow, Bachelor & Lax. That firm has evolved into the current firm of Bachelor & Newell, established in 1987, located at 211 Hobson Avenue, P. O. Box 1620, Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas 71902-1620.

Mr. Newell has served as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Hot Springs, 1983 - 1986; Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, 18th Judicial Circuit East, 1987-1989. He is a member of the Garland County, Arkansas and American Bar Associations, where he has served on the House of Delegates of the Arkansas Bar Association from 1994-1997, and has been a member of the Tort Law Committee of the Arkansas Bar Association since 1994. He is a member of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section and the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.

He is most active in the Arkansas Trial Lawyers' Association, where he has served as a member of the Board of Governors from 1993-2000 and has served as an IMPACT trustee and Co-Chair of the Legislation Committee from 1993 through the present.
